The ultimate advanced baking team challenge is back and better than ever!

Session 2: Wednesday May 6th and Wednesday May 13th

In this two part drop-off class, students work in teams to select and execute a pastry or pie or recipe that will use professional tools, creative methods, surprise flavors and fresh ingredients. These classes focus on team building, advanced baking and decorating skills, and creativity. Each class includes afternoon snack plus indoor and outdoor play studio fun!

Wednesday May 6th: Teams plan their pastry or pie designs and select fresh ingredients to customize sweet or savory creations guided by team preferences. Each team member selects a job/role in the execution of their team’s project. Using instructor provided recipes and guidance, teams work together to cook a pastry or pie filling for their final projects. Team projects will be stored in our freezer to ensure freshness for the following week’s fun!

Wednesday May 13th: Teams work together to create a sketch of their dream projects. Timers are set as teams work against the clock to bring their visions to life! Using the support of the teacher and teamwork, students learn to roll, cut, weave, fold, twist and braid pastry dough. Teams work together to prepare and bake their project before the timer goes off! This special advanced pastry baking class has a surprise guest judge and includes a student-designed pastry box to take their project home!
